CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Regular Classes:
These are the normal crossfit programmed class. In this trainer lead class, you will be stretched out, warmed-up, go over technique review for the workout, have the weights scaled to your abilities, and then hit the workout. ONE HOUR for the entire class!!
Beginning CrossFit Classes:
Even though all of our movements and workouts are infinitely scalable, we realize that you may feel extra nervous or intimidated to come in to our regular classes. Our Beginning Class may just be what you are looking for! This class takes some extra time to scale appropriately for your limits in strength, flexibility, cconditioning, and experience. We will spend a little more time on our warm up, and then concentrate on the movements. Make no mistake, this is a TRUE Crossfit class but we will tend to you just a little bit more and make you feel comfortablee. Come see what CrossFit at the Northern Inferno is all about!!
Mobility Classes:
These classes are an hour long and are led by a trainer who is specialized and certified in CrossFit Mobility. This class will allow for improvement of joint, tissue, and muscle mobility to give an increased range of motion and allow the body to achieve the best postion for proper movement. It will increase your performance, injury prevention, injury resolution, and technique.
Northern Inferno Youth Classes:
These are 30 minute classes that concentrate on the fundamentals of movement in a playing environment. The kids will get a workout without even knowing it and still build the strength, flexibility and coordination through games and other fun activities.
Foundations Class:
One 3 hour session that gives you specialized instruction on most of the movements we do in the Inferno training. This class will include a brief lecture on several important segments of Crossfit and why we do what we do. This class is offered a couple times a month either on a Saturday morning or Sunday morning. Please email if you are interested in taking out Foundations Class. This is not a pre-requisite to starting classes, however we like new memebers to go through this course within the first month of joining.
